What is OPC?

OPC or OLE for Process Control is a standard set by the OPC Foundation for fast and easy connections to controllers. Use the OPC data built into ExperTune to connect to any OPC server. ExperTune supports both OPC and OPC HDA (Advanced only) connections. ExperTune Inc, is an OPC Foundation Member.

What is OPC Compliance?

Compliance Testing is a process which verifies that an OPC product implements a specification properly by using a standard software test tool developed by the OPC Foundation.

The interoperability test process requires that OPC vendors run a series of standard tests for each combination of an OPC Client and an OPC Server product.
